Yep, I finally got my hands back in the dye pot & worked up two brand new colorways in celebration of our brand new yarn! 

Blackbird is a 100% Superwash Merino Fingering weight yarn with a firm twist for stitch definition and a soft hand for pure loveliness.  Perfect for tanks, sweaters, socks, shawls, scarves, children's items, & basically anything you want to be able to toss in the machine without worry.

This brand new colorway, Kerala (largest producer of spice in India) is a keeper!  I LOVE these colors!  There are so many little tidbits that come through.  Burgundy, russet, eggplant, gold, ruby, amber, and emerald, all stir-up to create this gorgeous skein of yarn!  I can't wait to knit with it myself!

hey thanks you guys. yes, Kerala will be available at myhedgehogknits.com when we do our shop update, aiming for June 30th.

The twist on our new BlackBird base is not like any other yarn we have in our line. Its firm & perfect for getting just the right stitch definition.
